This was our first stop on our 2006 west coast trip and after driving 3,100 miles we arrive in Coburg only to find out that no one knew we were coming. Our host, Monaco Coach Co. didn't advertise or promote our appearance. In fact only four or five employees from Monaco came through our display. Words cannot express our disappointment; can you imagine driving 3,100 miles and no one knew that you were coming?
Thankfully, the town of Coburg came to our rescue and they immediately contacted the news media. What could have been a disaster turn out OK, we did get a fair turnout. Although, if Monaco had advertised our appearance our attendance would have been much more. Gene and I would like to thank the City Administrator Donald R. Schuessler and Police Chief John Bosley. We would also like to thank Sandy Hunt and Bill from the Coburg Grange.
